Donate to the Library’s Community Care Closet to help those in need.
The library’s community care closet is available for library users in need of hygiene, food, and harm reduction supplies.
*We ask that all items donated are new and unopened*
Here are some examples of popular items:
- Soap and/or travel cases for soap
- Hand lotion
- Travel-size toiletries
- Packages of body wipes (travel size is great)
- Deodorant
- Razors
- Feminine hygiene products
- Brushes/combs
- Handwarmers
- Hats/mittens
- Socks or underwear (packaged, please!)
- Snacks, such as protein or granola bars
- Non-perishable food that does not require kitchen tools, such as can openers
- Ready to eat meals - no refrigeration
We also accept gift cards for gas, groceries, or other items that might help someone access services or employment. Please leave these at the front desk or deliver directly to Lisa C. or Kerri. For more information, please call Lisa C. (ext 5) or email lclark@eastprovidenceri.gov.
