Kids’ Summer Learning Challenge

2020 SUMMER LEARNING CHALLENGE

Click here to register and login to our online summer reading tracking app.

Things are a bit different this summer, but we are making the most of it.  We will still be encouraging reading and learning, bringing you great book lists, and providing family fun at-home activities.  Please take advantage of our completely online summer reading experience with the Beanstack app.

Miss Pam explains the Summer Learning Challenge here:

How does our online Summer Challenge work?

It’s easy!  Children read anything and everything, and log the days they spend time reading.  We are challenging them to a variety of learning activities too – writing, math, science, eLibrary, fitness, and more.

Children will earn raffle tickets for reading and for each group of three activities they complete.  The raffle prizes are Target gift cards, book bundles, and library swag bags (a library logo bag complete with t-shirt, pencil, bookmark and poster).

This year we are using an online program called Beanstack to track your progress.  You can download the free app here or link to our Beanstack site here.

Kids can read independently, or they can listen to someone else reading to them.

Reading throughout the summer helps retain reading skills!
