    silhouette is an image in outline only, usually filled in as black on a white background. Learn about silhouettes in art by creating your own winter silhouette!  Pick up this craft kit any time at Weaver Library starting Monday, March 1st and make it on your own with simple instructions.  You will need crayons and glue. Part of the project is to color a beautiful winter sky using multiple colors. If you have paints and paint brushes at home and prefer to use your paints instead, feel free!

  • What’s It Worth? (Virtual) Appraising with Mike Ivankovich

    Do you have an item, treasure, or heirloom that you’ve always wanted appraised? Here’s your chance! Mike Ivankovich, who’s been in the business for over 40 years, written over 20 books, and hosts his own radio show, will join us on Zoom to appraise your item.

    Mike will begin with a 20-minute discussion on “10 Factors That Will Always Impact the Value of Your Treasures”. He will then immediately transition to the appraisal portion of the program, evaluating each attendee’s treasure, one-by-one. Throughout the program Mike will be sharing many Buying & Selling Tips & Strategies.

    On average, it takes 2-3 minutes per appraisal. This means we will allow the first 30 patrons that register to have ONE item appraised. Those who don’t have something to be appraised are more than welcome to still attend.
