Designed by librarians, this is a great database  for anyone involved in a book club or anyone who loves to read!  NoveList offers so much:  book discussion guides; the order of  a series;  novels on a particular theme; read-alikes; articles about books and reading;  author biographies.

Literary Reference Center ^[2]
Literary Reference Center is a full-text database that combines information from books and literary journals as well as original content from EBSCO Publishing.  Literary Reference Center contains plot summaries, synopses and work overviews, literary criticism, author biographies, book reviews, poems, short stories, author interviews, and classic texts.

Novels for students ^[3]
This 16 volume  e-book provides critical overviews of over 200 well-known novels from various cultures and time periods. It includes discussions of plot, characters, themes and structure as well as the work’s cultural and historical significance.
