Welcome!

We are very proud of East Providence Public Library [1]. If you haven’t been by to see us in a while, please stop in. We’ve remodeled in the last few years, making the library more friendly, easier to use and good for meetings, studying, learning, or just plain enjoyment.

Here you can access free WiFi, browse books, dvds, music [2], find and download audiobooks, and so much more.

Our computers and WiFi are free of charge and we offer many community programs including Literacy Education [3], Children’s Storytimes [4] and Adult Enrichment Classes [5].

This website serves as our unofficial branch, and we hope you use our free download links [6] and access the catalog [7] anytime of the day or night.

We are member of Ocean State Libraries [9], a consortium of over 40 public libraries in the state of Rhode Island.  If you need an item that we do not have, we can get it sent to East Providence from another library.
